VDAB (Flemish Public Employment and vocational training Service), Vormelek (Agency responsible for training in the sector of electricity), HUB and i-propeller have developed a partnership to design a more efficient energy efficiency and renewable energy sector in Flanders.

The sector of energy efficiency and renewable energy is presently growing exponentially. The sector in Flanders is dominated by a multitude of micro-enterprises (less than 10 employees) who have increasing difficulty in finding the workforce to install PV-solar panels, isolation etc...

i-propeller took up the challenge to design new intermediary services to ease unemployed people to become active in the sector. At the same time, the new service will accommodate the difficulty of these knowledge intensive small companies to deal with the demands, needs and aspirations of low-knowledge intensive employees.
