Nuon Belgium

Nuon is a leading energy company supplying electricity, gas, heat and related services to more than 2 million customers mainly in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The company is active in the production, trade and delivery of (renewable) energy. Nuon aims to achieve balanced growth for all stakeholders: shareholders, employees, customers, the environment and society. Net turnover in 2004 amounted to € 4.9 billion. The number of employees is more than 9.441 (Full time equivalent).

i-propeller has developed two service innovation concepts for Nuon Belgium.  A first service concept is anticipating the high difference between people interested in solar power/panels (70% of BENELUX population) and those able to install solar panels (only 7%).  A second service concept is designed around smart meters and how they drastically change relationship between Nuon and its customers.
