Het Recreatief

Het Recreatief is a social economy enterprise improving the employability of people who lived long-time unemployment (handicap, diseases, prison, migrants etc.). They contacted i-propeller in order to get guidance in developing a new service. The objective was to diversify their activities focused until then on clean-up of public parks, renting out space and catering for events.

i-propeller has developed the Kookaal concept based on the in-house available competences. It consists of the opening of a restaurant in a remote area. The restaurant prepares vacuum-packed meals that local companies can buy for their employees (in their CSR policy) either to be consumed at work or to be taken home.
